The Loire

The Loire is the longest and cleanest river in France. There is no industry along the river which helps protect it. There are over 300 castles in the region, many of which are built along the river. Most of the buildings along the river are black and white which creates a lovely contrast. It is also a very dangerous river because the level of the water can change very quickly. It is also known as a region where people eat well, drink well, and live well.
